- I was amazed when I heard the dispatcher say, 'what a car is free'. Thank God that gal had the gumption and brains to tell the dispatcher, 'we need one now'. She should be replaced immediately. Totally out of touch with her job.

- On the surface and to some extent, this is good news for Vets. But, and a big but, the working conditions, the very low salary, the crazy hours, etc. It's a great publicity ploy for Wal-Mart however. But did you catch the little twist, only Vets that were mustered out in the past 12 months.

- I'm so sorry to hear of his death. What a loss. Just think of all the things he could have accomplished. Actually, he really didn't do anything wrong but was being bulled by our government's justice(?) system.

- I love Reid, what he did Sunday was nothing short of brilliant but in this case, he was wrong. Katrina killed a state with Bush holding the smoking gun. Sandy was terrible and, being from Jersey, the cities and the boardwalks were part of my youth and to see them wiped out was horrible.
